This is a summit that I drive past often as you see it from the A590 which is the main road from the M6 into South Cumbria.  Parking is available near to Witherslack Hall.  It's a reasonably easy walk, you start off by walking along side of the bottom of the summit through some woods, before you start up a quite rocky path that leads to the top - then you walk along the 'limestone flags' until you reach the summit.  It's about a 45 minute walk for this route.

I've always found this summit to be difficult on 2m, even though it looks a good take off - but with perseverance I managed to work 14 FM contacts, including 2 S2S QSOs; Grayrigg Forrest and Pen Llithrig y Wrach. Thanks, as always, to those who came back to my calls.
